Neje Master 2 - not possible to connect to laserGRBL

So we have:

• Neje Master 2 (ver 7.7, motherboard 11)
  Win 10 PC
  usb cable
  Laser GRBL 4.4.1

Now, when connecting Neje with USB (even without the power cable) to PC I can see USB CH340 appearing in my Win Device Manager.
I'm able to use Neje v5.3.5 software when connecting power cable to Neje Master 2.
Once opening Laser GRBL and selecting COM (there is only one available - same as in Win Device Manager) and ANY Baud, and trying to connect, the Neje Master 2 is freezing with additional yellow lamp light enabled.

WTH?!

Yes, when NEJE software is connected to the device, it is a realistic blue light; when laserGRBL or lightburn software is connected to the device, it is a yellow light; if you have any operational questions, please leave a message below;

yes... the issue is I may not connect "Neje Master 2" with "laserGRBL"

Neje master 2 is an old model in the past. This model has built-in benbox firmware. If you want to use laserGRBL or lightburn, you need to use the neje firmware update tool to upgrade the firmware to GRBL1.1f; then you can use laserGRBL
