x-axis offset during engraving

Post by pberger »

I am engraving photos on wood and as you can see in the attached photo, there is a large offset on the z axis, which is moving to the right. I have already burned around forty photos without having this problem. I don't know how to fix this problem. I uninstalled the driver, reinstalled it, but the problem persists. However, if I engrave a black rectangle, there is no offset. I think it comes from the differences in the gray values that disturb the movement of the head. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? With thanks [img][img]

Hello, this should be a mechanical reason, you can check whether there is dust on the slide bar that affects the smoothness of the X-axis direction;
