PWM

Post by Aundee »

I am trying to connect my new Neje 40640 to my Sainsmart 4030 CNC machine. The Controller PWM signal is 0 - 3 VDC. Is there a way to use this module with a 3 VDC PWM signal?

Thanks for the quick reply. Using the test module / the voltage out to the PWM when the test button is pressed gives the full 12Vdc PWM to the laser and the laser fires at 100% power. If I use my control board at 100% power the max voltage on the PWM leg is 3Vdc. The specs show 0-12Vdc PWM signal to control the Laser power. If my controller only puts out 3Vdc to the PWM at 100% power, that means the laser will only achieve 25% power. Yes I can fire the laser on using the standard connection but I will only achieve 25% power output with the 3Vdc PWM? Do you have a work around for this?

I found that you misunderstood PWM. Please check this connection for more information
