Wiring Diagram between Neje 40W laser module and MKS DLC 2.1 control board

Hello! I need support how to make wiring between Neje 40W laser module and MKS DLC 2.1 control board?
I need detail diagram step by step, please help. I made several wiring diagrams and don't know did i make correct wiring or not.

Then which of my diagram is correct above mentioned?

My second question is: Do I need to get 12V power from controller board or i can plug separately 12v power from other source?

Hello, because of the lack of other information on your control board, I don't know which one of your pictures is correct, but I can tell you clearly that the GND and TTL of the second picture need to be adjusted. You can try N1 and N2, which won't damage your laser. If it doesn't meet your expectations, please continue to try

Thank you for your quick reply but I confused a littl bit. I need some detail step by step nstruction as I don't have experience on this field.

By the way I have second question: Do I need to get 12V power from main controller board to laser module board or i can plug separately 12v power from other source?

Both are OK. Independent power supply is recommended. Remember to connect GND to your motherboard

Hi there,
take a close look at your pictures!
You go from the controller (Fig. 2) GND to TTL?

Do you go from the controller (laser) to the test board?

Please excuse me, since everything is absolute rubbish.
Neither Neje nor other providers get it because cables are simply wrong, diagrams are wrong and there is no other correct documentation!

I have a DLC 2.0, a DLC 2.1 and an XY DLC 1.0 here and they all run the same!
12 volts from the controller to the board and only one cable (signal).

Note:
RED = 12 volts
BLACK = GND
YELLOW = signal

This is the only way to make it happen!
In order for this to work, please pay attention to the connectors and pin assignments.
You may have to swap here.
But even Neje doesn't get this regulated or properly described.

I have various lasers on my DLCs:

3.5 watts (3 pin)
Neje 20 watts (3 pin)
NoName 5.5 watts (3 pin)
SainSmart 5.5 watts (3 pin)
LaserTack LE 455 6 watts (3 pin)
Sculpfun S6 30 Watt (3 pin)

Please excuse my bad English, my German is a little better.

Connected via the controller (12 volts) and only yellow = signal ... that's all you need!
Picture. 4 (my) would be the right connection.

Hi there,
it's not just Neje, there are various manufacturers who simply take cables again and again:)
Signal sometimes has yellow or sometimes red or sometimes black and the connections that were labeled incorrectly.
It's very easy and anyone can ...

RED = 12 volts
BLACK = GND
YELLOW = signal (max. 5 volts / TTL)

The MKS DLC is a great toy!
But every laser, every driver, every cable MUST be checked.
Pay attention to the direction on the plug, the colors ... this problem affects all providers!
I'm building some diode lasers on it and they all work without any problems!
I also have this problem with various limit switches and I have about 20 controllers from WoodPecker 3.4, DLCs, EstlCam, LEKN C1 and a lot more ... which are always assigned differently.
Simply inserting a plug just because it fits is a mistake and can destroy everything .....

If I may, I'll show you a few examples and yes, I've already destroyed a laser module, various controllers and motor drivers.
